We would like to be able to share checklists (or maybe also VMRS & Class codes, etc.) between RTA customers. The lists could be a starting point for others so they don’t have to recreate things from scratch. For example, we have a very lengthy vactor maintenance checklist that’s in hard copy form. If someone has an existing checklist in electronic form we might be able to use that as a starting point and not have to type everything in. (Text recognition programs aren’t working well on this document.) If we do have to type up our list, then we could share it so another customer could use it as a starting point.
I definitely AGREE. Sharing check list, work order layouts, VRMS & Class code helps everyone new and old users. Yes, new or old users could still create or tweak their own as needed but if someone has a better “mouse trap” why not share. Sharing that kind of information would also help RTA; I would think. It may help uniform the system making it easier to manage?
